David B. Paul, M.D.

David B. Paul, M.D. was born in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from Drake University with a B.A. in Science in 1973. He then attended the University of Iowa where he was involved in research in biochemistry and instructed human anatomy to medical and dental students. The following year Dr. Paul entered Medical School at University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA, graduating in 1978. He completed his Urology residency at the University of Iowa in 1983. He then moved to Brainerd and opened his solo practice, which evolved into Lakes Area Urology. Dr. Paul is board certified by the American Urological Board and is a member of the American Urological Association and the Minnesota Urological Society. Dr. Paul has been married for over 30 years and has 3 children; 2 sons and a daughter. |
Bradley J. Qualey, M.D.

Bradley J. Qualey, M.D. grew up in Stillwater, MN and graduated cum laude from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN with a B.A. in Biology. He has been in the Brainerd Lakes Area since the summer of 1996 and joined Lakes Area Urology at that time. Prior to this, he practiced with Metropolitan Urology LTD in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dr. Qualey received his Medical Degree at the University of Minnesota in 1984. He then completed his 5 year residency in Urology at the University of Iowa in1989. Dr. Qualey is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association and the Minnesota Urological Society. Dr. Qualey is a past Chief of Staff at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. He is married and has 3 sons. |
Scott C. Wheeler, M.D.

Scott C. Wheeler, M.D. was born in St. Cloud, MN and graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School. He graduated magna cum laude from Bethel College in 1994 with a B.A. in Biology. He graduated from medical school at Mount Sinai in New York, NY in 2000. He completed his Urology residency in 2006 at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. In July, 2006 he returned to MN and joined Lakes Area Urology. Dr. Wheeler is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association and the Minnesota Urological Society. His medical interests include all of adult and pediatric urology, including laparoscopic, minimally invasive and robotic techniques. He lives in the Brainerd area with his wife and 2 daughters and 2 sons. |
